WELCOME TO CURRAJONG

Currajong has a long and proud history. The school motto “Alert and Faithful” was introduced in 1954 when the school was established and is as relevant today as it was more than fifty years ago.

Alert requires us to be attentive and responsive to change, improvement and development.

Faithful ensures we don’t forget or abandon the things that work or continue to be relevant and important.

Alert and Faithful provides a balance between the past and future, the old and the new.

We emphasise values such as respect and courtesy and encourage the pupils to be curious and confident. We teach tables and spelling as well as problem solving and computer literacy. We encourage and invite parents to become involved in our classrooms while at the same time respecting the numerous demands made on the staff.
